besides that , what is the best way to get the photos onto a portable storage device. A usb flashdrive or what? I guess an ipod with lits of memory is good, but beside that what else? I would like to have an idea of the best way to back up my photos. thanks and happy , healthy holidays.

@KathySierra Maybe, but I can’t keep the neighbor kids from opening any digital content or visitors from browsing the photos on the computer

Sorting old photos, maybe one day I’ll convert old negatives to digital but never seem to have the time or inclination!
