Can I Use My Iphone As A Storage Device For Files?

Is it possible to use the iPhone as a storage device for files like you can with most other cell phones? I paid for 16 Gigs and all I can do is store photos on it? Seems kind of lame and limited.

    yeah you can. you just don’t use itunes for that.
    when you connect your Iphone to your computer look for it in the “my computer” file and click on it.
    and just click and drag it on the iphone icon.
    you cant see it on the iphone or anything, but its there.
    And i think that it shows up on the little meter on itunes as “other” or something like that.

    Yes you do need an additional app from the AppStore for it. You can use file browser apps like AirSharing to store files on your iPhone. They are very handy and quite cheap.
