How Can I Transfer Photos Saved On Disc To My Camera Card To Enable Me To Display On Digital Photo Frame?
Transfer the info on the disk to the hard drive of your computer, then from there to the memory card, and into the photo frame
Transfer the info on the disk to the hard drive of your computer, then from there to the memory card, and into the photo frame
This may sound silly but to get the best out of the Digital photo frame you need to buy extra memory cards or at least one, you don’t want to have to keep removing the card from the frame every time you want to use the camera.
You will need a card reader either built in to your computer or a portable one connected to the computer by USB lead. If to do not have a card reader it is possible to use the camera via a USB lead.
Make a new folder on your desk top
To do this click right mouse button move curser over “New “then to “folder” left click on folder, a new folder should now be on your desk top (you can re name it if you like).
Pop the photo disk in the drive bay.
Press “ctrl and shift” keys to stop it auto loading.
Double left click on the “My computer” icon on the desk top,
You will see the drive with the disk in it is usually D drive.
Left click on the disk icon
When it is highlighted keeping the curser over it,
Right click on the icon
Left click on copy.
Close down all windows until you get back to the desktop.
Open up the new folder you created earlier.
Right click
Then left click on paste.
You should now have copied all your photos from the photo disk on to your computer ( remove photo disk from the drive).
When you are inside the new folder you should see mini photos (Thumbnails) if they are not thumb nails.
Left click on View on the toolbar at the top of the screen then left click on thumbnails.
Delete anything that is not a photo and any photos you don’t want to transfer.
.
OK now to get the photos off the computer on to the memory card.
Put memory card in the reader or camera and plug in to the computer USB port.
If the reader has multi card bays these will show up ad different drives E F G H etc,.
You will need to identify which drive has the card in.
If any programs start up to do with camera / readers just close them down.
Right click on the photo folder.
Left click copy.
Go back to My computer
Find the icon that matches the card reader or camera.
Left click to highlight it.
Right click
and paste the photos are now on the memory card.
Remove card from reader
Place in the photo frame turn on and Bobs your uncle.
You can go back and add more photos to the memory card as and when you want.
This was too long to check for spellings and grammar so you have got what you’ve got!!! ha ha !
If you have a PC, some are equipped with a card reader for SanDisk and others…just copy the pics from disc onto your pc, then to your card…if you aren’t equipped with a memory card reader then try this…Do you have a USB Cable for the Camera…check on getting one,…they shouldn’t be much…then you can transfer everything from your card to PC…whereas in your case from PC to card on your Camera through USB…if your camera supports USB.
