Is There A Digital Camera That Has An Aspect Ratio Compatible With 4×6 Photos.?

My digital photos all have an aspect ratio of 4:3, which is different from those used for 4 x 6 photos I want printed. I’m paying premium at a small print shop to get 4X6 prints that would be cheaper at Wal-Mart. Is there a digital camera maker that sells a camera with compatible aspect ratio?

Many compact digital cameras have an option for producing images in the 3:2 ratio. Take look in your manual, or in the settings of your camera. Check that it still produces high resolution images though. Some cameras have a 6×4 setting which is only suitable for 6×4 prints.
Otherwise, as suggested elsewhere, most DSLRs shoot in this format (some sony and olympus models don’t).

Its always been a problem I feel like sometimes you just have to print it out on a bigger pice of paper and cut it down. DSLR’s are 2:3 which is a huge pain if you want to print it quickly. Very very few places print 8×12 and forget finding a frame in that size thats cheap.
