besides that , what is the best way to get the photos onto a portable storage device. A usb flashdrive or what? I guess an ipod with lits of memory is good, but beside that what else? I would like to have an idea of the best way to back up my photos. thanks and happy , healthy holidays.
http://photobucket.com has free photo sharing/storing. Simply create an account, upload photos and images, and that’s it. You can use basic editing tools on the photos, add captions, etc. You can send them in an email, or link the album to friends and family to view online if you wish as well.
depending on how high the resolution is of the photos, SmugMug is another good alternative, though it does carry an annual fee (something around $40-$50). An iPod or a flash drive can store backed up data; depending on the size of the photos and other files you might want to back up, you might also want to invest in a USB or FireWire Hard Drive (similar to a flash drive, but can hold much more data)
