Where Is The Best Place To Store Digital Photos?

I have hundreds of digital photos on my home PC. Although I have large amounts of space on my hard drive, it may be slowing down my PC and its memory (is that possible?) Where is the best place to store digital photos?
1. on a hard drive
2. on a CD
3. on-line (snapfish, Kodak, shutterfly, etc)

My best suggestion to you would be to purchase an external USB hard drive. they are very affordable and can help in many ways. I use mine to backup my primary hard drive in case it dies. If it does ever die, i can just get a new primary, reload XP, then just copy all of the photos, music, files, etc. back onto the new primary. click here for an entire list of portable hard drives: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory….
(go with a seagate, they are very, VERY reliable! (whatever you do, DO NOT GET WESTERN DIGITAL!) i had two of those and they both died within 2 weeks. i called support and they couldn’t even speak english!
good luck. hope this helps. email me for more assistance.

For backup purposes, a combination of the above. To speed up your computer, try defragmenting your hard drive and running ccleanerhttp://www.ccleaner.com

    Another hard drive.
Depending upon the number of photo’s you have, storing them on a CD may involve numberous CD’s, not just one.
I suggest getting an external USB hard drive and storing them on it.
If you have an old computer laying around, you can take the hard drive out of it and then either install it internaly as a slave drive. Or buy a USB “hard drive case” and install the old drive in that.
