I like www.pbase.com. Easy to use and a great place to browse and see some fantastic photographs from all over the world.

About once a year at this time, we snap a few photos of our kids and put them into a walmart.com greeting card generator. It shows a scene, a few photos, and some text saying “Merry Christmas!”.
The choices for these cards are usually poor, and I’d really like to design my own (the easy way, using existing images, etc.)
What software is out there that will allow me to do this. Preferably I’d like something freely available like The Gimp

I have tried writing to a cd-r disc,do I need a special kind of disc.

Just use My Computer and drag and drop the files onto the CD.
Make sure that you have CD buring activated though!

I’m nearing the point where I can justify the cost of a laptop for use in creating music (I sing, play guitar, bass and can push “start” on my drum machine) and in storing and working with digital photo’s.
Apple products are marketed as being better at these tasks than Windows based PC’s.
I’m interested in knowing what others have experienced.

I’m looking for an online photo center that can let me upload my photos and create a bound photo album/scrapbook for order. I know Walmart does it, but their book options are pretty limited. Are there any other sites?
I’m from Canada.
