Hi!
I am looking for a free file online storage service (eg http://www.freewebspace.net/guide/diskst… which allows guests to upload files for me.
We arranged a big party and would like to ask people to share their photo, but for their convinience upload to a server rather than burn a CD or DVD and send it to us.
No need for them to see each others files, cause we are going to make a webalbum out of selected pictures.
I’ve found services which costs, but no free ones….. And I prefer not to set up a ftp server myself since I usually turn off the PC when I’m out.
Thanks!
I’ve been using Photobucket for years, to backup images of my girlfriends and ex girlfriends, as well as some party photos, but some of these images contain nudity and get deleted, so I’m looking for a free alternative. I do not however want anyone else to be able to see the images, so secure albums is a must.
yeah. your storing pictures on your hard drive? yeah that takes space. the letter 8 takes up space. 8 bits!
I’ve downloaded them to my computer from my Kodak Easyshare C340. Now I’m trying to upload them to a webpage. I think the file size is too big. What do I do?
I know there are alot of websites out there that offer file storage, but I’ve never had to use one. I’m trying to figure out a good, easy, and user friendly one.
What I plan to use it for is to upload a bunch of high resolution photos, and a couple videos, that I took at a trip we took to the lake, and have it so that the other people on the trip can easily browse and download them from there as well, so I don’t have to actually e-mail every person.
One thing important, I’d like to be able to just select all the files at once and upload (rather than having to pick and choose like 1 to 5 at a time), and also I’d like everyone who is wanting to download them to be able to download them all at one time, rather than one at a time.
Any good suggestions for a free site where I can do this?
And then – what is the best way to print them? A home large-format printer? Or professionally? I’m an aspiring amateur.
If you’re wanting free, unlimited storage that is easy for family and friends to get to, I recommend Yahoo! Photos.
im going to an art school and a 1/3 of my first quarter grade depends on my artist clip file.. i dont really know how to organize it. as of now i have a photo storage box which i sorted with envelops and put alphabetical dividers in. any better ideas?
I want to save or “back-up” my photos. Please recommend any free and easy to use storage sites. I have seen some that let you save one file at a time, it would take too long to save, as I have many files. Is there a way to download entire folders at once?
Is burning CD’s the better way?
Now that Yahoo has done away with photo storage, what would be a good alternative for backing up photos.
They advertise “Flicker”, but I just saw a news report where a 16 year old girl had her image used by Virgin mobile without her or her parents consent. (big lawsuit)
I need a place with some security. And if possible, storage for other type files.
