Hello, I am investing in a video camera very soon. I will obviously be taking photos. Here’s the thing though: my computer has been acting up and can crash at any minute, so I dont feel safe storing them on my computer. Where is a good place to store them? USB flash drive?
Should I use a powerpoint and export it to dvd, or windows movie maker, i want to be able to use the dvd remote to go from picture to picture.
I do papercrafting and cardmaking. It’s all scrapbooking supplies, but without the photos, basically. I need to find something in which I can store 12×12 papers as well as scraps and smaller sheets, stickers, stamps, glitters, scissors, inks, paints, and various notions and embellishments. It would preferably be portable to some degree but hold as much as possible, in as organized a fashion as possible.
I can put things together if need be.
I’m a little cash-strapped, but I could make most things work.
Please, any suggestions?
How do I transfer to Flickr?
I don’t know what service to use, and I don’t want to print them myself. I’ve checked out various websites and it looks like Sam’s Club is the least expensive, followed by Wal Mart. But is the quality any good? Any opinion about other photo-finishing websites like Snapfish or Shutterfly?
Want is the best user friendly photo editing software for Windows XP Media Center -name, version, and mfg?I loaded an older version of Broderbund Print Shop (version 6 – they’re now on 21) to my computer and crashed it…had to do a total destructive recovery – wiping everything out and resetting at original settings. So, I’m in the market for whatever photo edit/storage/manage or whatever I need. I’ve also got Click Art (1998 or 1999) from Broderbund that I’m going to trash rather than risking a crash. Need a “step above” amateur advise before I go out and don’t know what to buy. Thanks
So my friend wants to buy my second hand ipod and I have no idea what to sell it for because I don’t want her to ge the impression that I’m ripping her off. It’s a 30GB limited U2 version ipod. It’s the one in black and red but with no colour screen or video or photo storage. It can store about 5000 songs. I ordered it from Dubai and I paid around about US$250 for it. So the question is, now it’s a year later and what should I sell it for? Half price? 75 % of the original price? 20% of the original price? I have no clue. HELP!

The various photos sites (Flicker, Snapfish, Kodak, Shutterfly, and Photobucket) that Yahoo is suggesting us to move to, how do they compare? I’ve heard some pros and cons for each of these sites, and now i have no clue as to which one i wanna move to. I have a ton of precious photos in Yahoo Photos that i need to move, i really wanna make sure i’ll land in a site that really works for me. I want one that works similar to Yahoo Photos, preferably with unlimited storage, easy and fast uploading, and hopefully without a hefty price tag. I’d really appreciate any comments from current users of these various photo sites. Thank you!
I just bought an 8″ digital photo frame that displays pictures in 800 x 600 resolution. Does that mean I should resize my photos to 800 x 600 dpi, to get the best resolution/size for that frame?
thanks.
