I’ve tried all the camera’s settings, even sports, but the little critters are just too fast for it. One good pic by me can be found in Flickr looking up Grigia (hamster, pix, grigia tags).

I have a Sony Cybershot digital, w/7.2 megapixels. How do I set it to take night photos? And how about night photos with the full moon out? (I want to photo the moon rising over the sea; so there would be plenty of light including reflection off the water). Black & white might look really nice too if it’s possible to set the camera for this (the instruction book is atrocious so I ask here).

I have a Canon Rebel XT camera. Some photos (Jpegs) only take up about 1.2MB while others take up 6MP. Why is there variation when the same camera/lens is taken for each photo? Also, Canon XT is an 8mp Camera. Shouldn’t each photo be 8mp? Thanks!!!
PS: Photoshop tends to increase the memory of a photo. Why is that?
I have a Canon sd800is. When set to maximum mega-pixels and on superfine quality, the photos a are 4000-5000 kb each. This makes it hard to upload and send (takes forever per photo). Does te max setting just give you a larger photo of the same quality if you set it on a lower setting, say 600×800 (medium low setting)?
Also, I have read or heard that the larger the file size, the more chances of getting compression noise in the photos if reduced to a smaller size printed photo? Help! Thank you!
