If wanted to store critical material such as photos, digital videos, audio, which data storage format would be best?

without having to have any kind of account with the site-i just want a simple place to upload ya know?

I want to take the photos I already have saved on my computer and store them somewhere safe, also freeing up some space on my computer itself. Is an 8GB USB Flashdrive the way I would do this, or is there another way? (sorry to sound dumb…just never did this before) Thanks for your help!

I am moderator for more Y! groups, but my favorite is the one for pregnant women add young moms. We share many photos, and the 100 MB seems not to be enough. Please help us, if you have any idea how can we buy some more MBs for storage.

Hello all. Like many here i have been reading, they were as shocked as i to see Y Photo’s close. For me online photo storage has been a lifesaver. I am an artist, and i had a appt. fire which destroyed everything… except what i had uploaded. I have some shots that are very large in size that need to keep their resolution for large scale or fine quality art prints. I need this option to keep. Ideally, i would not like to pay a fee but easy and quick multiple uploads are good and even more so, being able to re-download my whole portfolio without having to do it 1 by 1. i am a starving artist, so no fee is a great fee. Any feedback anyone? I had been hearing great things about Picassa, but it is not an option in the yahoo photo migration process.

I am a high school student, currently using a school laptop (a Dell Latitude D630.) However, I’m moving and will have to return it to the school when I do so. I really like the functionality of a laptop, so I want to get one at my new location.
I’ll be using the laptop for word, itunes, the internets, and photo storage and editing.
What would you recommend?

I love looking at pictures and old hair and clothes from years ago.
